Kylie Jenner Raps on New Track, Joins Film Cast
Kylie Jenner, the force behind Kylie Cosmetics, is broadening her empire, stepping into the music scene with a feature on Terror Jr's new single, "Fourth Strike." This collaboration is a follow-up to Terror Jr's 2016 track, "3 Strikes," where Jenner appeared in the music video to promote her then-new line of lip glosses. This new song coincides with the upcoming Oct. 18 launch of a new Kylie Cosmetics collection.
The beauty mogul took to Instagram to share her excitement, posting behind-the-scenes footage of herself recording and enjoying the track. Jenner addressed long-standing rumors that she was the vocalist on "3 Strikes," clarifying that it wasn't her. This inspired the collaboration on "Fourth Strike," finally giving her a chance to be featured.
In "Fourth Strike," Jenner delivers a short rap verse, including the lyrics: "One strike, two strike, let me get the mood right. Do it on purpose just to see how it ends," concluding with a whispered "King Kylie," a nod to her former edgy persona.
This move into music follows Jenner's earlier foray into reality TV via Keeping Up With the Kardashians and her colossal success in the beauty industry with Kylie Cosmetics, a brand that propelled her to billionaire status.
But music isn't the only new avenue for Jenner. She's also set to make her acting debut in Charlie XCX's forthcoming film, The Moment. The cast boasts a strong lineup of actors, including Rosanna Arquette, Kate Berlant, Rachel Sennott, and Alexander Skarsgård.
While her move into acting might surprise some, Jenner previously expressed interest in pursuing acting on Keeping Up With the Kardashians. The Moment is anticipated to arrive in theaters next year.
